  • Chris Stark on University memories and graduation blues (Re-visited)
    May 7 2024

After four wonderful years hosting and producing, Emily is saying goodbye to the 360 Degrees podcast. So, for the final two episodes of this academic year, we're going to be doing something a bit different and looking back at some of the highlights from over the years. This month, we're re-sharing the episode with Chris Stark.

She says: 'although I've been lucky enough to have so many interesting conversations with various people over the years, this one remains one of my personal favourite episodes. I loved the candid way Chris speaks about struggling with mental health after graduation as I think graduation blues is something a lot of us have experienced but perhaps never put a name to or talked about. It was also a lot of fun sharing stories and memories about Jesters and Manzil's!'

Although Emily is leaving, the podcast will be continuing with a new host so keep your eyes peeled for future episodes!

In this episode we chat to alum Max Saakyan, creator of the extremely successful podcast 'Uncovering Roots'. Uncovering Roots is not just a podcast; it's a journey into the lesser-known narratives that deserve to be heard. Each episode is crafted to immerse listeners in a creative and personal storytelling experience, fostering a connection between the audience and the featured stories. Uncovering Roots will feature a number of stories which will concentrate on the SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) region and indigenous people across the globe. The podcast aims to appeal to a broad audience by covering a wide range of themes.
