  • Developed by the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) in partnership with the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) , the Emissions Measuring and Monitoring Technology roadmap includes over 45 current and emerging technologies, ranging from in-situ sensors and handheld instruments to drones, plane and satellites. These hold the potential to play a pivotal role in emissions monitoring and reduction due to their ability to provide accurate, timely data which is essential for identifying and mitigating environmental impacts.

    In this episode, NZTC’s Stephen Sheal interviews the NSTA’s Metering Manager, Douglas Griffin and NZTC’s Head of Technology Services, Niki Chambers, as they provide insight on the creation and delivery of the roadmap, from the current and upcoming technologies to the crucial data and insights North Sea operators require.
