With all the negative feeling and reporting around Manchester United at the moment, I thought it would be a good idea to do something to help lift the mood and also to involve you, the listener, in goings on here at Retro Devils.

So to that end, between us, we're going to assemble the United Team of the 90s, position by position, over the next few months - interspersed with our normal episodes. I feel like this could be a really fun collaborative process, and if it proves popular we can look into doing other decades in the future!

We're going to start our team with the Goalkeeper, and you can vote for your choice of goalie via the poll in our Facebook group. Remember you can only vote once, but feel free to add comments to justify your selection, or to support the cause of someone you perhaps didn't vote for but may have wanted to!

I think this will turn into a really fun series, and I'm excited to see the team that we create together.
