  • There are many people in this world trying to be born again by believing in Jesus. But let me make it clear here first that being born again spoken of in the Bible does not depend on one’s work. Many Christians have a misconceived notion of what it means to be saved and born again. These misguided Christians think that there are certain requirements that they must meet on their own to be born again. For instance, some of them think that to be born again, they have to spend their entire lifetime to plant as many churches as possible; others think that they have to go abroad as missionaries and devote their lives to lead other nations to believe in Jesus Christ; and still others think that they would be born again if they dedicate their lives to God’s work without even getting married. There are countless Christians who think like this nowadays.
