All four accounts of the gospel mention Isaiah 40 a voice crying out in the wilderness . 3. Jesus told his disciples that he will go to Jerusalem to die. 4. Another example was in Acts 8 where Philip is explaining the suffering Messiah to the Ethiopian who was reading Isaiah 53.
