Our guest this week is Diane Ferraro, CEO of Save the Storks. The mission of Dianne and Save the Storks “is to create a story of hope and empowerment for every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy.” Throughout her life, Diane has experienced life, love, loss, hope and redemption. Diane was nearly aborted as a result of an unplanned pregnancy. However, her birth mother had a change of heart and placed Diane up for adoption instead. As she shares her powerful life story, Diane confesses, “nothing in my life has been predictable.” Her life experience and career in marketing has uniquely prepared her for her work with Save the Storks.   The ministry of Save the Storks provides holistic, compassionate care for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies through a variety of resources to empower them and instill hope for the journey ahead. To that end, Diane has embraced lessons from her marketing work in the entrepreneurial world to be an advocate for truth, and rise above the competition. This has certainly been demonstrated through the steadfast work of Save the Storks. In their partnerships with churches and businesses and also other non-profits they are effectively ministering to the mothers, fathers, and the children that are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. While life is unpredictable and full of challenges, life remains beautiful and sacred. Ferraro has over 25 years of business and marketing experience and has held leadership roles as a chief communications officer and vice president of marketing in a variety of industries including nonprofit, luxury retail, tech and education. As an adopted child and a foster and adoptive mother, she is a lifelong advocate for life and adoption.
