What’s in a name – honor and praise, but also shame and disgrace

Jesus started a church before He left here, and He chose 12 Apostles to carry on His work, while He went away to prepare a place for us in the Kingdom of our Father.

Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Salvation, faith, hope, and love is all about Jesus. Jesus had faith hope and love in His Father, and we must have the same for Jesus. That's the only way that it works, that is the only way that it is successful.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast

Is there somebody here today that knows, and who can testify that His yoke is easy, and His burdens are light? It's easy for me to put my whole trust in Him, my eternal destination, my eternal future is in the hands of my Savior, and I love to have it that way. I don't desire it any other way, you?

When we as human beings began to talk about God and the things of God, none of us are in a position to prove our theories right now, because these things are way above our pay grade, all of our pay grades; but they're not above Jesus’ pay grade, and He's the one who told us about these things in the first place. He also told us that we were going to need faith in order to believe them.
