    Oct 1 2023

In this episode of Atma Vision, we delve into the connection between Kali Yuga (and what is Kali Yuga) and the recommended process of chanting God's Holy Name. We look at five Bible verses, as well as a famous verse from the Srimad Bhagavatam, about the power of the Holy Name. • Why can't God have a girlfriend?
    Sep 20 2023

In this episode of Atma Vision, and ahead of the upcoming festival of "Radhastami," we look at the theme of the internal pleasure potency of God, also known in the Bhakti tradition as Srimati Radharani. Making comparisons with the figure of Mary, we show how the worshiper approaches God via the compassionate intercession of His divine, feminine pleasure potency (whether having a maternal or conjugal ethos). We look at a verse from the Upanishads, a verse from the Bhagavata Purana and a verse from the Bhagavad-Gita, all relating to the person of Radharani. We also comment on a passage from Stevie Wonder's "Jesus Children of America" song from 1973.

  • The Names of God and Kali-Yuga; what if we're not interested?
    Sep 5 2023

On this episode of Atma Vision, we address these questions, within the context of the greater, "Hinduism"-related, Krishna-Bhakti sacred teachings:
Are the Names of God sung in different theistic traditions referring to one, same God?What is the significance of the Names of God in the current cosmological age in which planet Earth is living through?
What happens if we are not interested in chanting the Names of God?

  • Do I love You for what You can do for me?
    Aug 19 2023

On this episode of Atma Vision, we look at Blessing Offor's 2022 song, "Believe," and we focuse on the theme of selfless love, making a comparison to Lord Chaitanya's famous prayer in which He prays only for selfless service (and not for material benefits, although God can and does "has our back.")

    Believe (Lyrics):
So you catch me when I fall, right?
And you hear me when I call cryin'?
And you fix me when I'm broke, right?
And that's all I need to know
So the storm is gonna break right?
And the sun is gonna start shining
And everything is gonna go right
And that's all I need to know

But what if you know something I don't?
What if you will something I won't?
If you don't give me what I want
But you give me what I need
    Is that enough to

Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love?
    Will I still
Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love?

So nothing's ever going wrong, right?
And every day I'm gonna be smiling
Turned my water into good wine
And let the good times roll

But what if you know something I don't?
What if you will something I won't?
If you don't give me what I want
But you give me what I need
    Is that enough to

Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love?
    Will I still
Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love?
Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love
    Will I still
Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love?

Do I want you? Do I want you?
Do I want you or what you can do for me?
Do I love you? Do I love you?
Do I love you or what you can do for me?
    Sometimes I don't know
But all I wanna do is...

Believe, believe, believe, believe in your love (yes, I do)
Believe, believe, believe (all I wanna do), believe in your love (all I wanna do is believe)
