  • Alex Kozora of Steelers Depot joined the show to discuss what Russell Wilson’s calf injury means for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Justin Fields.

    Wilson has yet to be a full participant in training camp practice. The Steelers are scheduled to have their first padded practice on Tuesday.

    Both Kozora and Bergin still expect Wilson to be the Steelers’ Week 1 starter.

    Kozora also explained why he believes Pat Freiermuth will get a contract extension before the start of the 2024 season. He explained what he’s seen from standout players through the first four day days of training camp, including DeMarvin Leal, Kyron Johnson, Donte Jackson, Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson.
