  • It's time for the second "half"! But first our mathematicians are taking the time to take stock of the first "half". They review the 97 games so far by reviewing their Opening Day predictions. Then they get touchy-feely and talk about how they feel about the 2024 San Francisco Giants, but first the let Farhan Zaidi have his say.

    On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking a Big Missile while Ben is drinking a Fryer Tom. Recipes below.

    Big Missile

    • 2 oz White Rum
    • 1/2 oz Peach Liqueur
    • 1 oz Lime Juice
    • 3/4 oz Strawberry Syrup
    • 2 dashes Cherry Bitters

    Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-15 seconds, until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

    Fryer Tom

    • 1 1/2 oz Old Tom Gin
    • 1/2 oz Benedictine
    • 1 oz Lime Juice
    • 1/2 oz of Simple Syrup

    Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
