  • Kristi McVee is an ex-Australian Police Officer, Detective and Specialist Child Interviewer. Kristi is also a wife, a mother, an Author and public speaker with a mission to support parents and children to live empowered, abuse free lives. 

    In this interview Nat speaks to Kristi about the challenges she faced in her own childhood with alcoholic parents. They discuss her time as a Detective and the circumstances that slowly lead to Kristi suffering from depression and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), eventually resulted in Kristi leaving the Police Force.

    All of these life and work experiences have come together in Kristi's book "Operation KidSafe, a detectives guide to child abuse prevention". This book gives every parent the necessary tools and information to support and empower their children so they grow safely into responsible adults.
