  • Stealing away in the dead of night and waking up to a strange new world of popping seaweed and picnics of golden flaky pasties on the beach. Buzz words were the ice cream cornet and thermos flask. Baggage allowance or departure lounge didn't figure in our 1960’s vocabulary.

    Memoirs of a Little 'Un by Chrissy Payne was narrated by Juanita McMahon, with sound design by Adam P McCready, supported using public funding from Arts Council England. It is produced by New Perspectives Theatre Company’s Open Pitch – a unique community programme that showcases extraordinary stories from across the East Midlands.
