    In 2019, veteran broadcaster and arts journalist Mark Wigmore debuted the first season of his new podcast, Art at the End of the World. The interview-based program features artists, entertainers, and innovators speaking to their life experience and craft while reflecting on what it is to make and curate art within the difficulty surrounding the current political, ecological and cultural climate. Season One welcomed comedian Chris Locke, world-conquering DJ Skratch Bastid, TIFF Co-head Cameron Bailey, theatre maven Britta Johnson, broadcast legend John Donabie, actress Karen Robinson, provocateur Sook-Yin Lee, and classical/jazz/world pianist & composer Ron Davis, among others. It's the second season for the podcast, but the first distributed and supported by The New Classical FM and The Zoomer Podcast Network! To celebrate, Mark welcomes one of the most talked about names within the world of neoclassical music. Pianist and composer, Alexandra Stréliski. Her award-winning "Inscape" recording has topped the New Classical FM Top 20 Chart for the last year! The Montrealer speaks to Mark about growing up in Paris, writing soft piano music as an act of resistance, and how she reckons with the heartfelt responses she receives from her fans. She also looks back at her long and unexpected collaboration with Oscar nominee and Emmy & Golden Globe winner, Jean-Marc Vallée, included his HBO series "Big Little Lies" and his film "Dallas Buyers Club. And Alexandra reveals how a career in advertising and a difficult breakup almost derailed it all.
