I had a great author interview with fantasy writer Maighread Mackay who writes Vionary Fiction, Mystery, and Fantasy. She answers questions such as what is visionary fiction, as well as shares about her visionary fiction series The Lake Scugog Mysteries and her fantasy novel Witchfyre and Faerysong. She is an award-winning Canadian author and Member of the WCDR (Writer's Community of Durham Region) and the Visionary Fiction Alliance Maighread MacKay.

She is the author of several books, including the visionary fiction series The Lake Scugog Mysteries series, which begins with The Secret of Stone Cottage, as well as her Romantic fantasy novel Witchfyre and Faerysong and a few children's books. Through her work, she enjoys exploring new ideas and concepts about life in all its messy, glorious, beautiful, heartbreaking facets. When she is not writing, she loves gardening, painting, reading, and creating fun projects with her family. Her best friend and constant companion is a caramel-colored Malti-Poo named Bear.​
