  • This week, Burke speaks with award-winning author of the Ages of Malice series, Lloyd Jeffries. He served in the U.S. military and has practiced Emergency, Trauma, and Wilderness medicine for 20+ years. Lloyd decided to create the Ages of Malice series because he wanted to write a novel that thrilled, inspired thought, and questioned everything while doing so in a meaningful way. The Ages of Malice series follows Emere Merrick as he falls into the descent of religion, world corruption, secret societies, and prophecies to fulfill along the way. The series is a mystery, thriller, religious, and incredibly thought-provoking. All three books currently out, A Portion of Malice (the book Burke and Lloyd discussed), A Measure of Rhyme, and Embers of Shadow, are all very interesting and incredible in their own ways.
