She and I talked about how important our veterans are and how significant it is to have compassionate officers, who can take a holistic approach when responding to a call of a veteran in crisis--after all they are the reason for our freedom and why you and I can live the American dream. Nicole opens up about what it was like to go through the MDPD Academy as a single mom and the tragic accident that ended her career. Nicole and I talk about her first assignment and how being in a high-crime area really means ”hit the ground running” and truly learning how to investigate shootings, gangs, and dealing with crime scenes.
