Brother Turtle doesn't try to hurt anyone, but when Brer Fox tries to catch him, he has to think fast to save his life. He takes some lessons from Brother Rabbit and outsmarts old Brother Fox again.

Old Brother Wolf shares a good idea with Brother Fox for catching Brer Rabbit, but that Rabbit it too smart for both of them and makes fools of them again.

Mr Turtle falls off a shelf and knocks Brer Fox out cold. Brer Rabbit runs up the chimney and then Brer Fox tries to smoke him out. It looks like the fox has that rabbit in a fix this time. How will he ever get out?

Brother Rabbit tricks old Sister Cow into giving his rabbit family some milk. She tried to get even, but she can't catch that clever rabbit.

Mr. Turkey Buzzard felt foolish when Brer Rabbit tricked him and got away, so Mr. Buzzard tried to pass the joke onto Brer Fox and he got away with his foolin for quite a while before Brer Fox got wise and grabbed him by the tail feathers.

Uncle Remus tells Miss Sally's little boy another story in which Brer Rabbit is able to trick both Brer Fox and Brer Turkey Buzzard and scamper away again into the Bier Patch just as fast and sassy as ever. But he better be careful or one of these days his tricks might catch up with him.

Brer Fox tried to fool Brer Rabbit again to shame him in front of Miss Meadows and all the gals, but got outsmarted again and tricked into putting on a saddle and bridle and becoming Brer Rabbit's Riding Horse !!
