  • Episode 8: Quick Hits With LFA Fighter Aaron McKenzie
    Jan 18 2022

LFA Fighter Aaron McKenzie is on the verge of making the UFC, but the problems that come with fighting in smaller promotions make that path very difficult. This past weekend, he was supposed to main event an LFA event as potentially one final showcase to the UFC as to why he should get a chance. Instead, his opponent came on over 10 pounds overweight, costing his time, money and opportunity. This is not unique to him, and is one of many difficulties facing MMA fighters looking to make it to the big show.

    Jan 10 2022

Interview with Saidyokub Kakhramonov before his second UFC fight against Brian Kelleher. He is a 9-2 bantamweight prospect that I believe will finish this year as a ranked fighter in the UFC and will be a true contender one day in this division. Listen to his story of how he came to American, overcame all the cultural differences to get a wrestling scholarship to college, and then got a call on 4 days notice to fight Trevin Jones and made his way from Uzbekistan to Las Vegas to win by submission.
