I know we've all heard that one before. However, it is true! How many of us still set goals at the beginning of the year only to get to March or April and discover we've made very little head way ...? It's the hottest dance style in the world today. I started teaching heels classes in 2010 and have had a front row seat, along with the world, to its evolution. Too often I find myself in conversations about where it all began, and the current state of heels classes all over the world, and what we really do gain from it all. 

Pretty sure we all walked away from 2021 with quite a few lessons. Mine are not necessarily "new" lessons. However, they became more apparent to me this past year. What are some things that you learned in 2021, and how are you applying them to your life in this new year? Cheers! 

A handful of times in my career I have been asked what I think is the difference between a dancer in Dallas and a dancer in LA. 

In this episode I got to sit down with two dancers who have experienced being a professional dancer in both cities - ShirJuanda "Bounce" Woodson and Marcus Anthony II.  Both of Bounce is from Dallas, and Marcus is from Houston.
