  • Kingdom Connections and growth
    Sep 26 2025

Pastor Doug Stutts with Chad McMullen talk about the goodness of God.

The most important "kingdom connection" is the one you have with God through Jesus Christ. Being "born again" into the family of God establishes you as a child of God and is the starting point for all other kingdom relationships. This relationship is built on fellowship with Jesus and allows God's gifts and love to flow through you to others. Types of kingdom connectionsAccording to some interpretations, there are three primary types of divinely appointed kingdom relationships:

    • Fathers and mothers: Spiritual mentors who provide guidance and wisdom. A key biblical example is the relationship between the apostle Paul and Timothy.
    • Brothers and sisters: These are fellow believers who walk alongside you, offering a deeper connection than typical friendships. They sharpen your faith, share your burdens, and offer genuine love.
    • Sons and daughters: Those you mentor and pour into spiritually. These relationships are a privilege for believers to invest in others and help them grow in Christ.
    • Serving as a support system: In difficult times, kingdom connections act as a safety net, reminding you of God's faithfulness, speaking truth when you're confused, and praying for you when you can't find the words.
    • Advancing the gospel: Organizations like Kingdom Connections International use resources and partnerships to spread the gospel globally, helping to establish churches, fund missionaries, and aid those in need.
    • Investing in eternal purposes: For some organizations, the concept of "kingdom connectors" describes individuals who link generous donors with "God-ordained projects." These connectors help people invest their time, talent, and treasure into kingdom initiatives, such as funding new church buildings or mission efforts.
    • Developing spiritual maturity: Mentorship programs and apostolic networks foster meaningful connections to equip people for spiritual growth.
    • Encouraging intentional relationships: Kingdom connections challenge believers to see relationships not just for comfort but for eternal purpose. They require commitment, prayer, and humility, even when they stretch you.

  • Overcoming recurring sin
    Feb 13 2024
The difference one choice can make.... When we look at this we see that God was allowing both Adam and Eve to say no to temptation, Both were led astray by the devil and because of their disobedience she and Adam were kicked out of the garden. We have to know that when we sin we, and realize it , we can't just give up.. keep pressing and ask the Lord to forgive you. When you find yourself in a cycle just as in the days of Judges where you .. Sin brings Suffering, Crying out to God in repentance, that's where we get stuck... we need deliverance then comes Deliverance, Peace.. we have to overcome the repetitive sin by renouncing all dealings with the sin that continues to show up in your life. WE MUST BREAK THE CYCLE before we become like Sampsom. He toyed with the enemy and ended up losing his site when we lose sight and become blind to our own sin we try to make excuses of why we are sinning instead of breaking that bondage we continue in the same sins for years and become comfortable with it, we've gone from being convicted and shameful to using the excuse of " not being strong enough" when your strength is in the Lord He WILL BE YOUR STRENGTH. you must choose who you will serve just like in (Joshua 24:15) according to national statistics " taking your eyes off the road only two seconds can cause you to crash"
