Jesus' instruction and John's gospel is clear...but our understanding and application isn't. It's time we changed that.

John 14:12-14: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father, and whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

This scripture has been abused by prosperity preachers and swindlers alike for decades if not hundreds of years, but it doesn't give us liberty to pray for things that aren't Godly. If anything - all of us are praying for the Holy Spirit to give us the desires of our heart ONLY AFTER we've prayed God's word out loud and sought for Him to write His judgments on our hearts, for every trouble of life springs from our heart posture.

But this is where the rubber meets the road - most people are praying too small. If God gives you inspiration - this includes inspiration to pray for people, things, places, events, governments and even moments of time that have and haven't happened yet.

We're hard pressed to believe God would bring us to the edge of eternity where the sixth day is turning into the seventh day - the millennial reign of Christ - and Christ followers should somehow play it safe when it comes to our faith, purpose and prayer.

We respect other Christ followers who hold different opinions, which is why we're offering ourselves as examples of believers who are hashing out our faith and big ticket Biblical principles as the Word encourages us to do.

We believe in your potential in Christ.

We're at a time in history where tepid, lukewarm faith will be of much value to someone that says they follow Christ, but doesn't have the Spiritual Gifts to back it up.

If anything - I hope this encourages and edifies you to be bold and step forward in faith exactly as God is hoping we will. If not now, as everything seems to be falling apart - when?
