Ben shares some knowledge about ancient near eastern creation myths as a way tothink about the Bible in context – namely, the fact that it was written by people in their own place and time. The conversation keeps coming back to Christians simply admitting the way(s) they understand and treat the Bible as opposed to the ways we constantly pretend that we do.
