  • Tek & Prem welcome Anthony DiRenzo, Digital Producer for Battleground News and formerly of 1210 WPHT, on the VetLine to talk Eagles and Phillies. The Birds suit up for their first meaningful 2024 game a week from today in Brazil, versus the Green Bay Packers. There are high expectations for a team with talent across the board and a revamped coaching staff. Jalen Hurts, coming off of a reportedly phenomenal Training Camp, will take the reins again as the Birds start their quest to get back to the Super Bowl. But what will the defense look like? We discuss. The Phillies complete an impressive comeback win last night against Atlanta and hold a commanding 6-game NL East Division lead as we head into September. Nick Castellanos again victimizes Atlanta with a key home run to put them away at the Bank. The question remains: can they win a World Series with this group? We will know soon enough.
