Welcome to Bookish Memories. This is a podcast for all who love reading and those in pursuit of a nerdy friend!

Today's episode is about the book The Perks of Being A Wallflower. It not only marks the shifting point of my reading taste, but also how I view myself as a person. Charlies is the protagonist and narrator of the story. I read the book when I was younger than him. I read the book when I was the same age as he is. I still read the book now that I am older than him. The book is a constant reminder that staying present is key and that pain is an individual thing. “Even if somebody else has it much worse, that doesn’t really change the fact that you have what you have.” I hope this can shed a new light if you are struggling right now.
