Life on the Oil Patch

This is a well done podcast about the oil producing areas in West Texas. It goes into some of the history of the area including the many boom and bust periods. The narrator also interviews people about their lives including ranchers, oil workers, others who live in the oil towns, and some of those who have lost a father or a brother on an oil rig, highlighting some of the dangers out in the boomtowns. These are important stories to tell. The sound and narration are also very good as well as the intro/transition music.
