    Quench your thirst for distilling knowledge at the 8th Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference held in Edinburgh from the 9th to the 11th of May 2023. The technical programme is loaded with highly interesting content split into 12 categories to deepen into your distilling expertise. The WDSC is also a collaborative forum for professionals, suppliers to the industry, and scientists to connect and learn from each other.  

    In this second podcast, Jane Millar, Chair of the Organising Committee of the WDSC 2023 and Distilleries Technical Leader at William Grant & Sons Distillers speaks with Robin Mitchell, Chair of the Technical Programme Committee of the WDSC and Integration and Laboratories Manager at Diageo, and two other members of the same committee: Gillian MacDonald, Master Blender & Head of Whisky Creation at The Glenmorangie Company and David Jenkins from the International Center for Brewing and Distilling and Assistant Professor in Brewing Technology at Heriot-Watt University.

Over the past 40 years, the WDSC and its community have grown to become the world’s leading collective of scientific practitioners dedicated to the distilled spirits business bringing leading-edge and practical science and great networking opportunities to allow our industry and professionals to thrive.
