Bring Your Best to Everyone You Touch (S01E04)

  • Resumen

  • In this episode, 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 was joined by two incredible guests – 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦 and 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡, who consistently bring their best to their respective charities ("𝐢.𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋” and “𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤”) and within their organizations.

Throughout this episode, you'll discover the importance of self-care, continuous learning, and the power of networks in the digital era. Our guests shared their experiences and wisdom on topics such as the evolving role of the CIO, the value of intentional listening, navigating through failures and mistakes, and adapting to the fast-paced world of change.

Michael Kubik commented “Leaders use their impact for good! Morale does start at the top!”

Ellora Sengupta added “Morale does start at the top. We can choose how to respond to situations keeping in mind our actions have an impact on individuals on the team. Also take time to take care of ourselves as leaders so we can then take care of our team.”

Arvind Sahu noted that “Willingness to learn from failures is essential for success.” And Herb Hofmann added “And support others through theirs. Can really bring a team together.”

Lacey Elmange stated “The leaders I respect the most have demonstrated vulnerability and grace. I would follow them to the ends of the earth because of it!”

Jordana Yellin added some history “Michael, I had the honor of working with Mrs. Lauder and the Global Comms team as an exec intern (decades ago!) and my focus was on an ELC Breast Cancer Awareness college/university initiative. I've often wondered what that initiative/campaign would have looked like had a stronger partnership with technology existed. That said, I've been thrilled to see the cross-functional alignment of today support Mrs. Lauder's legacy. I imagine that it still brings camaraderie and positivity, but now the reach within the organization is broader.”
