About my guest: A powerhouse with a passion for empowering others, Calvin Schwartz brings a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world experience to the table.

After graduating from Rutgers University Pharmacy School with a double science degree, Calvin spent 25 years honing leadership and sales expertise as a regional manager for Luxottica Group, the world's largest eyewear company. This journey wasn't just about transactions; it was about building connections and fostering growth.

A lifelong learner with a creative spark, Calvin then embarked on a writing and media career. Inspired by "Casablanca," Calvin Schwartz penned the novel "Vichy Water," followed by a stint in journalism, contributing to publications like NJ Discover. Calvin’s passion for storytelling further ignited during his tenure at NJ Discover, where he produced and co-hosted a local cable TV talk show. Calvin’s second novel, ‘There’s a Tortoise in My Hair; A Journey to Spirit’ has been met with rave review(s) and a prestigious STAR from Kirkus Reviews.

Calvin's commitment to making a difference extends beyond the media landscape. Currently serving on the Advisory Committee of the Women's Health Institute at Rutgers RWJ Medical School and the ONE HEALTH NJ (Human, Plant, Animal) Steering Committee, Calvin champions collaboration for positive change. His dedication extends to future generations, as evidenced by teaching a Career Explorations class at Rutgers University and actively mentoring students.
