• Air India Limited partners with iCoupon to deliver an innovative solution for pax facing delays, in that their boarding passes carry the barcode airport suppliers can use to provide refreshments in such cases, instead of separate vouchers being issued.
• In a tragic accident at Schiphol airport, a person died after being sucked into the engine of an Embraer jet.

Welcome to The BTA Podcast. In these podcasts we will endeavour to share our thoughts, concerns, optimism and build those all-important human connections with our Partners, Members and Guests.

In their latest conversation Clive Wratten and Andrew Clarke, after a new ‘changed up’ intro from Clive spoke about a busy few weeks behind and ahead of them at BTA Towers. Once again the collaboration with BEAM was mentioned, with their support of the BTA,s M&E Conference and then the BTA reciprocated by supporting the BEAM conference later in the same week. There was discussion Clive’s recent meetings at Westminster and also with American Airlines, who after the discussion back tracked on their NDC strategy, surely a coincidence? They then focused on a busy few weeks ahead with BTA Next Gen Board Meeting, Industry Partner Board, Tech Conference and the Business Travel Show where once again the BTA will be out in force on our stand.
