She has also worked as a legal analyst at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City. She holds a MA in strategic studies and international economics from SAIS, where she was a Merrill Center fellow. Access to hygiene products has been the number one reason for female students at Moonlight Centre either falling behind in their studies or dropping out of school. Sponsorship also included a printer and internet connection. This enabled Moonlight to offer printing services locally as a source of sustainable income.
