  • The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce's Career and Leadership Development Academy is a collaboration with New Hanover County Schools to provide middle school students an opportunity to acquire career, leadership, and education pathway knowledge throughout the eight-month program. 

    This week we sat down with Dr. Patrice Faison, Chief Academic Officer at New Hanover County Schools, and Demarcus Nixon, Career & Technical Education Coordinator/Work-based Learning Coordinator at New Hanover County Schools, to discuss what the CLDA is and the impact it will have on the 43 7th grade students participating.
