We also dive deep into Francis Ford Coppola’s passion project Megalopolis, a confounding statement about we’re-not-exactly-sure but are still excited to see, as well as Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest Kinds of Kindness, starring his usual cadre of actors as well as Best Actor winning Jesse Plemons. Other films discussed: The Apprentice, The Substance, Emilia Pérez, Bird, and Armand. We also briefly discuss Furiosa, and why it might not live up to Fury Road.
