  • This week, join Terry and Aaron as they catch up on the exciting events they’ve been part of this year and discuss upcoming opportunities for in-person connections. From screen printing classes and the FUNdamentals Live event to the invaluable experiences at SkillsUSA, they’ll share the highs and lows, spotlighting the incredible support from the industry and the areas needing more involvement. They’ll also dive into the trade shows they’ve attended, the insights gained, and what to look forward to in future shows like DAX and Graphics Pro. Tune in for a comprehensive update on the past, present, and future events shaping the garment and product decorating industry. Events Aaron: It's good to be back. Thanks to Erich for sitting in for me as I was hosting the inaugural FUNdamentals Live. Kudos to Kristine for making it through an episode without causing me the need to edit the audio to maintain our PG rating on Apple Podcasts. Today we thought we would catch up a bit on some of the events we have been a part of this year, and some other opportunities for people to connect face-to-face coming up. Why don’t we first start talking about events and then after the break we can talk about trade shows. I know you also had an event this weekend, tell us about your screen printing class at Atlas -FUNdamentals Live-Franklin County Presentation-Future Screen Printing Classes SkillsUSA - Good, and Bad Good - Stahls, SewingMachine.com, David Gross (Victoria), Ann Crum, Insta Graphics Heat Presses. Kristen from Thread Design. Danish at Silky Socks. Heat Press Nation and Artisprix! Also thanks to Stephanie Young from Siser and her connecting me with Jere’ Johnson of Atlanta Vinyl. Also, Epson has stepped up with some prizes. So lots and lots of support! THANK YOU!!! Bad - Hix declined, Craft Express declined, Sawgrass, JDS, JPP. I’m calling on the Sublimation and overall heat-applied community to step up more. If you can support us, our main need is prizes for the competitors. We have to provide equal prizes to two different divisions, so I will need at minimum two of each prize. We give out prizes for first, second and third. Prizes are typically blanks, equipment, supplies of gift certificates that the students of their schools can use to continue building these Sublimation programs throughout the country. We make all of the schools, teachers, and students we interact with aware of the companies that are supporting them both in the debriefing and on banners in the competition area. We also give all the kids a bag of goodies to leave with and am happy to include any of your promotional material in the goodie bags. I can also provide you with pictures of the event you can use in your marketing and am happy to help support you in other ways for supporting this program!
