  • Why celebrate AAPI Heritage Month? What is AAPI? What is Intergenerational trauma and what does that have to do with spanking kids? So many questions and we have some answers, well at least we have our own experiences to share and make sense of these topics. AAPI stands for Asian American and Pacific Islander. We talk about the important contributions these communities has had on our country and why it’s important to keep AAPI representation and traditions alive and well. Brandy shares little bit about her Filipino upbringing especially growing up in the Philippine Performing Arts Company of Tampa Bay (PPAC). Both Brian and Brandy share how they were spanked by the slipper or wooden spoon and why that generational curse ends with them and their kids. Happy Listening!
