  • If The Money Is Right
    Jul 27 2024

We are back with another one! In this episode of the ChatterBox Chronicles, we dive into football and ask the question: Is it too late to go into preseason? We talk about how this is the season for us personally to prove people wrong! Reice then asks Jacob, "When are you going to get a new car? It’s been 10 years, but if it’s not broke, don’t fix it, right?"

We then discuss if we might lose focus on football because of the podcast, and if the money is right, what do you do? We delve into the changing room environment and how crucial it is to a team’s success. Plus, we share the moment we earned our changing room respect off the pitch.

In one of our new segments, "What the Ladies Want to Know," we answer the question about three values a man should have, and if we possess them. This leads to a hilarious section about every man's fear and some wild stories we've been through. We also discuss how people claim to be experts in something they've never experienced.

This week’s listener question is about how we got scouted, which then leads to why we feel English players are more respected abroad than at home. Careers are short, so make as much money as possible in a short amount of time because are you really going to be remembered?

We conclude with our "Stories from the Game" section, where we recount a tale of how we nearly got arrested on international duty and more. Tune in and enjoy!
