Checkbook Baseball is hosted by Dan Besbris, a lifelong Dodger fan (and avid proponent of Farmer John wieners and beef franks). Perhaps better known for his fantasy basketball acumen, Dan also worked in minor league baseball for a decade and has loved the Dodgers since his mom took him to the nosebleed seats at Chavez Ravine in 1987.
