  • Chico Jackson had a hard time accepting that his retinitis pigmentosa. was taking his sight. He continued to drive, and even devised ways to live with his blurry eyesight. In his words, he was, 'hard-headed'.

    But, after attending the Louisiana School for the Blind, he was trained to live with his blindness.

    "You have to understand your purpose, and take steps to better your life," Chico says. "Get out and don't be afraid of things."
