This is such a powerful account of what happened to Nehemiah. There is so much to be learned from this example. Let's stay engaged in the work of the Lord so we can rightly discern what is going on around us AND so we can glorify God in all things.

In Acts 16, we see how Paul and Silas praise God even in the midst of their trials and persecutions. They were delivered because they praised God in spite of!! Let's have the same mindset today!

Paul went around pointing people to Jesus. He did not come to the people with the wisdom and knowledge of man. He came with manifestation of the Spirit of God with power so that people looked to Jesus NOT to Paul.

This should be our same mindset. Let the Spirit of God lead and guide you. Let people see the Christ in You and glorify God in heaven and NOT you.

Peter and John manifested the miraculous power of God and the result - a man who was crippled that begged for money for many years of his life, was healed  and delivered from the spirit of infirmity. If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you too have miraculous power living in you for others to see and partake of. God did not fill us with His power so we could hoard it. God filled us with His power so that we could manifest Him to others.

Never settle when God sees what you don't. Go to Jesus and be healed - in your mind and body. When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, He will move on your behalf. Faith moves God. It's impossible to please God without faith.

In this episode, we are looking at 2 Peter 2. In context, Peter is talking about false leaders and how they do not have the Spirit of God - they are wells without water. They take you AWAY from Christ. Not only do we need to be careful about the leadership we allow in our lives, but we must also be careful about who we allow to be our friends. We want to avoid spending a lot of time around dry wells because they have nothing of substance to offer us. The ultimate goal of the enemy is for you to become a dry well (they are in the flesh, not having the Spirit). Ask God for wisdom so that you don't become deceived (stray away from safety, truth or virtue).
