Mike is a 22 veteran of the United States Armed Services--four years in the Marines, and 18 years in the Army. He retired from the Army at the rank of Sergeant First Class. The mission of Venture Vets, according to their church website, is "to reestablish community, hope, and purpose among local veterans through the foundation of faith." This year's college student trip, in which Northwest University participated, was to Greece and Italy. Rev. Jeremy Stein is both the new Director of the CHLS and a veteran trip leader with the organization. He has MA in Ancient Judaism and the Origins of Christianity from Nyack College.
