What do the sermons from Jesus to the seven churches in Revelation have to do with our churches today? • Mixtape (Track 2) - Psalm 22
    Jul 1 2024

What do we do when God is silent? This is what the Psalmist is trying to figure out in this psalm. As he's surrounded by enemies that want the worst for him and the one he always trusted to be there seemed to go missing. Now what? The psalmist seems to do three things: 1. He laments - he brings his frustrations and fears to God. 2. He gathers with his worshiping community - even when he may not feel like worshiping. 3. He places his hope in the future - he knows the silence won't last forever and trusts in the promise that one day will be better than today. Christ's Community Church exits to help people grow in the likeness of Jesus so they can go out and show his love to the world. Want to know more? Visit us at our website - ccchayward.com
