  • An Assassination Attempt-Evil Pronouncements
    Jul 18 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the difference between unbecoming political rhetoric and evil pronouncements and how it may have played a role in the assassination attempt. He points to the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12 outlining the nine gifts of the spirit, including the spirit of discernment. Those with the gift of discernment should be providing insight into where evil pronouncements are leading our nation. Using Scripture, the responsibility of every Christian to be discerning is outlined. He points out that the gift of discernment is really the ability to think biblically. The gift of discernment can be destructive and dangerous even though it is desperately needed. We can detect what is right and wrong or true and false when we saturate our minds with the word of God. • An Open Mind Can Lead to Destruction
    Jul 13 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the moral debates that are swirling around in our society. He notes that no matter what survey or poll you look at most Americans of every political inclination, region, education level, and age group say they believe in the devil and that Satan is not merely a symbol of evil but is a real spiritual being and influences human lives. Biblical teaching is used to demonstrate how Satan can place ideas in our minds. For that reason, the point is made that we should not believe everything that we think. A quote from Rick Warren is offered, “some people are so open-minded that their brains fall out. They think they can allow anything into their mind, and they will be just fine. They are fooling themselves!” Dr. Hall concludes this podcast with a warning that in this spiritual battle for our minds, we must acknowledge the existence of Satan and realize that he hates us and hates God. He will do anything to run our lives and lure us into eternity in hell. Can be heard on all podcast search engines. Can also be seen on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/73eWSydIyoY him him

  • Are you Meek? or Strong?
    Jul 7 2024

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the biblical definition of meekness. In the sermon on the Mount Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” He explains how the biblical definition of meekness is radically different from our contemporary understanding. The word meek in the Greek New Testament does not suggest weakness, rather it means strength brought under control. In other words, a meek person chooses to withhold their strength for the sake of peace, it is someone who is strong, confident, and armored for the world. He points out that the founders of America acknowledged their reliance on God as they signed the Declaration of Independence. Because they were prepared to submit everything to God even if it meant loss of wealth, family, and life they should be considered meek in the biblical sense. Dr. Hall ends the podcast by telling listeners that when Jesus said, “the meek shall inherit the earth,” it does not mean we are called to be meek and cowardly. We are called to be strong, confident, competent, and well-trained. Can also be seen on YouTube at:
