  • On July 7, our new pastor, Dr, Patrick Edwards, begins a new series called, Citizen, from Paul's letter to the Philippians. Today he opens the Word of God to Philippians 1:1-11.

    1. Into His body that we may walk in His salvation and proclaim it. (1:1-6)

    2. Living as a Partnership (1:7-11)

    We find that as the love of Christ transforms our lives personally, our church (our koinōnia), as it shapes the way we think and act, this work should find its intended end in the fruit of right living.

    A Partnership in the Gospel

    1. Shares in the financial support of the mission

    2. Loves and cares for one another

    3. Grows in the knowledge of God’s Word

    4. Produces a holy people

    To put it simply, Paul prays that believers would actually look like citizens of the Kingdom.
