  • This episode will delve into congenital syphilis and the impact this can have on an infant. We provide practical information on how to recognise increased risk for congenital syphilis, we discuss the signs and symptoms of infection, as well as cover treatment and prevention. This information is in accordance with the Queensland Health syphilis in pregnancy guidelines. This episode is part of a greater education package called "Antenatal Sexual health Kit". This fully-funded online education is a one-stop-shop of resources, tools, and up-to-date information to support antenatal clinicians in their critical role of risk assessing, screening, treating, and follow up of syphilis during pregnancy.
