To distance oneself from the egoic mind, we learn to observe its cyclical chirps and not react to the stories. Ego judges, blames, shames and alienates us from our spirit . Spirit speaks kindly and lovingly, and invites us into presence when we choose to listen and honour our spirit more than ego mind. Our power lies in choosing to not react to ego stories ; a constant practice that yields peace and love of self and all creation.
