  • When things go wrong
    Jun 14 2022

It's been a long time since Heidi produced a podcast episode, and there is a LOT to catch up on.

We have Heidi's special BFF, Stella back for this episode to talk all about how you deal when things go wrong.

What you'll learn from this episode:

    • How would you deal with a big hurricane
    • The girls realised that they don't have hurricanes where they live, so they don't really know how they'd deal with it
    • How you deal with falling over and hurt yourself
    • It's important to tell someone about it so that they can help you get better
    • Bandaids can be helpful - but might not work so well if you break your arm
    • Stella's little brother lost his two front teeth from an accident
    • Stella's Mum was really good at running really fast to check on him
    • How you deal with people being mean to you

  • How do butterflies come to life?
    Jun 7 2022

Butterflies are such a cool creature, and Heidi learnt a lot about them at kindy. She also has a book all about them.

We're not sure whether all this information is totally accurate, but it's a lot of fun anyway!

What you'll learn in today's episode:

    • Butterflies hatch out of a bag that they call a pupa
    • Butterflies are 1m wide when they come out
    • Some like to eat stinging nettles and cabbages
    • Some butterflies if they can't find stinging nettles would rather die than have to eat anything else
    • There are some caterpillars that are peacock caterpillars
    • Some caterpillars are very poisonous
    • Heidi explains how the caterpillar turns into a butterfly
