Jordan S Benjamin joins us in the studio for a very special episode 5. Jordan’s first encounter with film was at the young age of 7 when his dad took him to the cinemas to see Lord of The Rings - The Return of the King. Ever since then, he has pursued his dream of becoming filmmaker, and has done everything in his power to get there. Taking many risks along the way such as leaving his friends, family and safety net behind in Melbourne to pursue film school in Sydney, he truly has sacrificed for his dream, a trait that many struggle to commit too. Jordan is extremely passionate and dedicated to his craft, and it only shows through the quality and fine level of detail in his work. He is a Director, a Cinematographer, he has worked on short films, documentaries and commercials. Not only is he a close friend of co-host Timothy’s, but he is a great person, a great friend, and always has time for you whenever in need, and there is no doubt that he is on the brink of something special.

In this episode as we do with all of our guests, we discuss Jordan’s journey as a creative, and how he discovered his passion for film. We talk about his first initial experience with the medium and what were his major influences that inspired him to pursue this dream. We discuss the power of film, and its ability to change and shape the mindsets of younger people. Jordan talks about the challenge of committing to a dream, and having to make major sacrifices to try to reach those goals as a creative. We talk about film school, and how studying film in a formal setting helped him grow and develop as a filmmaker, and he tells us about his experiences of working on film sets for both the conceptual and commercial world.
