  • On this week’s episode, host Caryn Antonini is out of the studio and on location with Josh Mesnik, owner and operator of Josie and Tony’s, a private supper club in the trendy SONO district of Fairfield County, Connecticut. Josh is a General Manager by training, bringing over 2 decades of experience to his first restaurant concept which also includes an Italian sandwich shop. He got his start in the restaurant industry waiting tables at Cafe Luxembourg and went on to work front-of-house at Sushi Samba and Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill in Manhattan. Along the way, he discovered his passion for wine and interned under Virginia Philip, Master Sommelier at the Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. As his career advanced, he served as lead sommelier at The Standard Highline, The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and the White Elephant on Nantucket. He achieved a 2-glass Wine Spectator Award and with his dedicated folliwing went on to open Josie and Tony’s.
