We made it. One year of quality output ends as it began at the Cornish Lure Festival. We plot our way through awful weather, pastry and meeting great anglers along the way. If we met up along the weekend and promptly forgot your name then please hit us up as were getting old!

Trophy fish come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and if you know anything of our work you'll know that we adore the smaller, more obscure species that inhabit our shores. Today's topic is the diminutive little Butterfly Blenny which we have been lucky enough to stumble upon and on a recent July trip we went back to see if they're where we left them almost two years ago. We also get into a game of fish target Top Trumps which could've been a whole episode on its own.

Here we go. As promised, our latest DNA Versus episode is the inaugural edition of ‘Wrasse Pro’, fishing head-to-head against each other out on the boat. Big colourful Ballan Wrasse are the target and in a slight twist we weigh all captures to gain our total top five fishes combined weight, inline with what we've come to see in the US bass fishing tournaments. We've never put a Ballan on the scales at sea before so what does a 40cm Wrasse weigh? You're about to find out. This was a lot of fun to record so please sit back and place your bets.
