In the origin story to the Kid Dinosaur series, you head to the science centre to see a new science exhibit on bringing back dinosaurs using CRISPR technology (look it up). Things don't go as planned, and you end up with the DNA for all dinosaurs encoded inside you, letting you transform into any dinosaur you wish!
