In this more so brief than usual teaching, I’ll spill the beans and stir the pot in relation to the story of Jacob and Esau. In regards to Genesis 25 there exists a lot of information, misinformation, and missed information that is only found scrubbing texts of the family’s history. If all you’ve ever heard concerning Jacob (the man who dwelt in tents) was that he’s a momma’s boy, you’ve missed some incredibly rich details. So, what does it mean to dwell in tents? What about being a man of the field? Also, the daily lunch menu isn’t on display very often in Scripture, so what’s up with the pottage?
